Move a deal forward

How to manage your daily leads and follow-ups

Start the day with priorities and finish with every active conversation accounted for.

The outcome

Keep a short, actionable work list instead of a collection of conversations with no owner or next step.

Before you start

  • Have your current leads, contacts, and active deals available.
  • Check which appointments and commitments are due today.

The workflow

Work through it

6 steps
  1. 01

    Review today’s commitments

Start with Calendar and your active work. Identify appointments, promised callbacks, document deadlines, and the opportunities that need a decision today.

    Open Calendar
  2. 02

    Review incoming activity

Check the supported SMS, email, and call channels you use. Do not assume every external inbox or missed call is connected to the platform or captured automatically.

  3. 03

    Update lead and contact information

Keep confirmed names, contact details, preferences, and relevant notes current. Wait for a successful save, and check the record after refreshing when a change is important.

    Open Contacts
  4. 04

Choose the next action for each priority lead

Decide whether to call, reply, analyze, arrange an inspection, or prepare terms. Use Deal Operator to review available next-action guidance, but verify it against the actual conversation.

    Open Deal Operator
  5. 05

    Work a focused batch

Group similar tasks, such as callbacks or property analysis, rather than switching between every tool. Keep the relevant property and lead records open so outcomes are recorded against the right opportunity.

  6. 06

Close the day with clear follow-ups

Review active leads and deals, record what changed, and set dated next steps where appropriate. Remove stale priorities without deleting useful contact or transaction history.

Worked example

A practical start to the day

Check two promised callbacks, respond to an owner’s question, review one new deal, and confirm tomorrow’s inspection. Each completed action should leave a result and, if needed, a new follow-up.
